     @log @Mattaob Yeah I kept it very broad because, as said, only have four options on here. But "ace spec", just like "queer spec", has a lot of depth to it!

     Glossary:
     Mono- = one
     Poly- = many
     -gamy = female mate (may be used metonymically with respect to number of mates in a sexual relationship without regard to sexes)
     -andry = male mate (used rarely to to -gamy metonymy)
     -amory = mate of unspecified sex
     FOSS = Free and Open Source Software
     queer = non-heterosexual sexuality, or gender is neither cisgendered male nor cisgendered female
     ace spec = asexuality spectrum, considers oneself to be more asexual than sexual

     @cy @log @boo_ @Mattaob That's an old sexist assumption. As of 2012, more poly people appeared to be women than men (and several other studies I have seen since) https://www.advocate.com/current-issue/2016/1/08/polyamory-numbers

     All correct here except for -gamy, which comes from Greek gamos (γαμος) meaning marriage. You were probably thinking of -gyny, as in polygyny, contrasted with polyandry, which comes from Greek gyne (γυνη) meaning woman.

     (This might be super nerdy but I love Greek and couldn't help myself :ablobcatheartsqueeze:)
