     @Graf recommended TorGuard to me, and it's been okay so far. Some servers are finnicky for some of the streaming sites I visit and for fedi, but it's better than paying a jew for ExpressVPN.

     @Vo @BowsacNoodle Lets be honest, all 5 eyes countries are ZOG controlled. For those who don't know 5 eyes is a mutual "intelligence" (spying) pact signed by Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
     
     The part that doesn't get mentioned is that there is a sixth eye, israel. Part of the pact is that all those countries are required to share their intelligence databases with israel, the reason israel isn't included in the eye count is because of a clause that states that while israel is given full access to the database they are not required to share their intel network with any of the other members.

     @Vo @BowsacNoodle Just a heads up, Mullvad removed port forwarding from their service last year.
     
     They cited security concerns but from some of the leaks that came out the the real reason was because several big legal groups for hollywood and the game industry told them too because it is useful for torrents; which means there is a good chance they are sharing their data with those groups.
     
     Mullvad is also headquartered in Sweden and their government openly cooperates with 5 eyes countries. With how bad political repression is there I wouldn't trust any VPN service headquartered there that says they don't spy on you.

     @BowsacNoodle@poa.st I got IPVanish, and it's pretty good but lacks port forwarding that would be needed for like MC servers in my case. Cheap, allows P2P will all locations, and has a "double hop" routing feature.

     @jeffcliff Tor is great, but I sometimes run into issues using it with certain sites. I'm sure you understand. I gather you're of the opinion that those sites aren't worth visiting, but for my own sanity I can't remove myself from so many important things. And honestly, I'm kind of glad my bank doesn't work over Tor.

     @nihilvt @BowsacNoodle I think you can get out with DHT? But that's spotty compared to having trackers be able to point to you IME. idk though I use a rental seedbox so don't do much from behind blocked ports anymore.
