     i'm not sure i actually care about it enough myself to go out of my way and talk to them abou it, it just annoys me. I'm sure the reason was indeed something like "well pleroma is for nazis and akkoma is surely completely different" even though the two projects work together and share code all the time, as far as i understand

     @vaartis @eris @hj @sun I think it's more of the Pleroma bad that spiraled into people not knowing that Pleroma even exists.
     
     I see it all the time with polls like "What fedi server implementation do you use?" and there's stuff like snac2, but Pleroma is nowhere to be seen. During the last spam wave there were multiple people claiming that Akkoma invented MRFs and stuff like that.
     
     As for what Akkoma supports and Pleroma currently doesn't. It all comes down to Misskey's MFM which is janky in AkkomaFE anyway.

     @sun @eris @vaartis @hj Akkoma doesn't have feature releases now anyway. The big hit were custom emoji reactions and that is in Pleroma since 2.7.0 (or maybe even earlier since I run develop). Maybe also quote posts, but I don't like them anyway. There's not much new features to add in my opinion on the user facing side.

     What I miss in PleromaFE is post search for specific users (/api/v2/search?account_id=XXXXXX) and that's it, everything else is already there and the wordfilter is better than the hacked up jank I made a year ago.

     @mkljczk @vaartis it is done. Only thing that doesn't work (so far) is DM timeline which i can assume is what Sharkey.NET actually hasn't implemented yet. Some stuff is missing from nodeinfo so i had to detect 501 and fill in the blanks.
