If you think it's cold blooded murder I mean OK that's your opinion but you won't convince anybody with autistic screeching, Ben Shapiro style lawgic traps, or wishing death on your neighbors. That shit does not work at all. If you really think it's all that bad your number one order of business needs to be changing minds because a durable majority of reasonable people do not agree with you. If you do not convince people you will not win elections and nothing will change. Roe V Wade was a ridiculous judicial overreach that put the prolifers on the right side of history for a time. But that wrong has been righted.

  I completely agree. This is what I try to do. The points are simply and on full display. We, all of us, are really good at making excuses for why we don't want to do what God wants. We may not be doing Eruv wires and pretending the whole neighborhood is ackshually our house, but we all have that same potential to sin and make excuses. It's not just a modern issue, as we can look at early Church Fathers and see things as far as St Ephraim (mid 4th century) talking about the need to see our own sins and not make excuses, or Christ's comments (Matthew 7:3, Luke 6:41) about focusing on the speck in our brother's eye and ignoring the plank of wood in our own.

  The amount of unborn murdered in America (over 60,000,000) almost equals the total official number of all WW2 deaths (combined 62,000,000). Given what we know about numbers and certain questionable yet most-documented-literally-ever-oops-all-the-documents-are-fake-gay-and-missing events, it's possibly higher.

  the main ethical problem with abortion is the choice, putting the option there in the first place i see as the big moral failing.

  i recognize it as evil, because we have claimed to be judges and that we know about life, when we know nothing.
  
  we don't know anything about the human soul, the best we can do is approximate based on our own observations, but we just infer a soul based on what we *can* see.
  
  an android can trick a human into thinking they have a soul, and an unconscious person looks like he is lifeless, we can only infer that correctly since we know they are both android and human.
  
  besides abortion, the Affront to God and immorality, this "Sex Positive Culture" needs to die out, thanks to abortion and Contraceptives we have more unwanted pregnancies than ever, as a social consequence, and thanks to more unwanted pregnancies and this "sex positive" culture, we have parents that cant parent or are just absent.
  
  this problem is slowly destroying culture and integrity, why do you care about genetic integrity and it's boosts to the society when you have the culture actually crumbling down, because kids become adults but can't control themselves, lack any ability to actually manage anything.
  
  not to mention the side effects that are getting worse by the day like a female population that has their brain rotted to shit with anti-baby pills, and the male population becoming increasingly weaker willed, insane, mysoginistic or "the lucky ones" who become absolutely addicted to sex and cannot fulfill any of his responsibilities to his wife, because he doesn't love her, he loves her body, while also being completely unable to father.
  
  i will personally make an exception for severe severe cases, however, abortion as a contraceptive is as evil as it gets, and not only that, the spiritual and mental consequences individually and collectively are insanely problematic.

  They know though. The prophets were usually ignored or killed. Jonah was pissed because, instead of ignoring him or killing him like the jews usually did to their prophets, Assyrians of Nineveh listened and even the king wore sackcloth and knelt in ashes. This is discouraging and gives them feeling of inferiority and separateness. So rather than try and formulate new arguments to actually convince anyone they self ghettoize and instead try and make arguments that impress one another. That's how you end up with Mr Snakelover commanding me in the name of Jesus to agree with him and refusing to discuss anything with me, despite me being publically Christian on here for years. Or some of the other people pulling out hackneyed murder is murder shit. They're all operating off of scripts they wrote to get high fives from each other.

I'm absolutely open to having my mind changed and I sense that my position is flawed in a number of ways that I can't fix.

  Ask your grandparents what they think. The disconnect between "me" and the rest of society is something that was socialized into all of us by jewish propaganda. I was staunchly in favor of abortion when I was younger. After I became pro-life, I still held on to the "rape and incest" caveat for a while until I had a conversation with a leftist. I thought through it and changed my mind— the unborn is not deserving of death simply because of mistakes of the parent(s). People can change their minds. Most of us are here because we did.
