     Transgenderism in the west is way different than the Faʻafafine or Samoa, the Ladyboys of Thailand, or the Hijra of India. The other cultures never saw it as being the other gender; mostly it was just gay man who wanted to attracted certain types of other men. The Hijra are honestly more like the Bacha bazi; literally pimped slaved.
     
     The westerns try to point to them as say "see, it's always existed," but those things are very different from the new western movement.

     @djsumdog @Wiz that's just the truth, not sure about the peak though. my theory is that there's always a certain % of the population that's gay/trans/whatever per capita, and that it's more or less equal everywhere. you're just going to get countries where people are more open about it vs where they aren't

     Culture: Dane Cook was always funny, everyone just became prudes.

     Policy: Pennies, nickels, and dollar notes should be taken out of circulation. $1 and $2 coins should be normalized and not considered collectors items.

     Both: No part of the bathroom other than the stall should be considered a "private" space. The sinks and etc. should be in the hall with the drinking fountains. This solves the trans bathroom problem.

     Bonus, actually dogshit take on the trans bathroom problem: The men's room is the PvP server. If there are any doubts as to which one you should use, just safely fallback to the men's room. MtF, FtM, female-presenting-female, literally nobody is going to complain about you being in the men's room. It's the women's room that people shit their pants over. Therefore, for compatibility reasons, just use the men's room all the time. You're there to deposit waste, not make friends.

     the "it's always been there" take is at least a few year old. but that's not the issue, and that's why it's outdated. the issue is we have establishment powers taking this miniscule fringe (and unnatural) presence and boosting it into the mainstream, invading schools and pre-schools with their satanic agenda to demonize the natural and biological order of man and woman. will the actual phenomenon ever go away? unlikely, but will it disappear from the mainstream! undoubtedly, once the establishment cannot get away with supporting anymore, as it inherently does not belong anywhere near it.
