  Another example of a seperate culture would be the beauty parlor and the dsp board...The dsp board due to its annoying users on there is close to being seperated from the farms entirely which may even be worse for dsp at this point and the beauty parlor sometimes has some men in it but its typically making fun of fat women and personal qualms with troons. There is in addition a man hate thread which men on the site are completely barred from talking in.

  i only vaguely knew they existed and did stuff like following the chris-chan saga, until that one troon ddosed the site/fedi instance and their user base showed up on poast & adjacent instances. before that i had nothing against them, but they certainly weren't sending their best there. a small minority of decent people stuck around, but most were disruptive and obnoxious, and then went on to fabricate lies and organize harassment campaigns against people i knew.
  doxing vtubers is a hard red line. the entire point of vtubing is to be anonymous, otherwise you'd just be a fleshtuber, so they'd only try and dox vtubers in order to harass them into quitting.

  As an outsider looking in, I suspect most of this shit is coming from inside the house. I got no interest in the dox of vtubers, I've never so much as skimmed any content relating to vtubers on the farms. I imagine most frequenting that part of the site are heavily invested in the vtuber community, which has had a longstanding and widespread problem with unhealthy levels of parasociality.

  Nah, DSP doesn't make even a cent from hatewatchers. He has a very dedicated and loyal fanbase that has changed over the years here and there, had some drama with some people like Anonymouse or Tutankhamon but his hatewatchers mainly want to bury him and fuck with him. They spoofed his personal info to get his bank logs, they fuck with his relatives and wife's relatives, a comcast employee fucked with his internet connection...   As bad as the KF section is, DSP knows as well as Josh that if the DSP board is deleted, people that hate him will make a new site about him that will be way worse than KF because there will be considerably less oversight and moderation.   Old "Fuck Kojima" DSP was peak. During that era he was entertaining, albeit unintentionally. Current year DSP is just boring and kinda sad. When his playthroughs started getting memed he should've just leaned into it, but he lacked any sense of humor about himself.

  True that. For old DSP to be funny he would just have to play a game and have a difficulty spike to spaz out and try to brute force it for an hour straight. It was peak, on top of Phil being clumsy and having brainfarts here and there. It was a magical age.
  
  Right now Phil has mellowed out and got a lot of tolerance for being pissed, but in some part i think he toned down his streams a lot because he knows that today stepping out of line a bit and he will catch some heat. And with a hate fandom like he has you can bet that there is people for the slightest slip up so they can report him.
  
  Maybe it's that because he wants to play it extra safe or he's just old and tired of everything. He has his moments, but not like old Phil
