   So apparently the terrible new Devil May Cry cartoon was created by a jeet, and he literally made Hell and demons into representations of India and jeets. I don't feel like Satan and his legions really deserve that comparison. Sure, they're the dark, infernal forces of all the world's evil and sin, but turning them into Indians seems a little uncalled for.

     Part of writing a good villain is giving them motivations that follow some kind of logic, but you also need to give the hero a stronger counter-motivation that also makes sense.

     I always tried to give mine the good weapons and keep them alive because their unlimited ammo came in handy, but it was usually like herding cats. I found the best way to use the Marines was to give them rocket launchers and/or fuel rods guns and carefully shuttle them around to positions where they wouldn't blow us up trying to hit enemies that were way too close. Wish there had been a way to tell the kids to stay in the 'hog while Papa Chief goes inside to clear out the objective on foot.

     Sentinel beams were actually even better when you could get your hands on them. Had none of the downsides of the explosive weaponry. A transport hog full of sentinel beam-wielding Marines was OP even on Legendary.
