Die #Demokratie der #USA stünde heute nicht drei Wochen vor einem Abgrund (#InsurrectionAct 3)), wenn dies 2024 dort auch möglich gewesen wäre.

     While we are making comparisons between the US & Germany's fascism, I think it would be wise to point out that the German liberals voted to give Hitler power rather than work with the true left.

     In the US, the true left was quashed as part of a New Deal bargain, and our liberals are willingly "compromising" with the fascists in a pretense of statesmanship.

     You mean the communists by the US's "true left"?

     The Nazis came for them and the Social Democrats right in the beginning.
