Never getting an answer to really basic questions like "Are you using a media proxy?" and "What happens if you click the link and try to view the image directly?" sure as hell doesn't help. Having to ask them to begin with feels like I'm stuck doing tech support for the slow bus.

No media proxy, in beds and direct links behave the same and would not load. I changed nothing about my configuration, and they eventually started working. I also work just fine on my instance now

  Oh, i don't care if you fix it. I'm just mentioning it. It's probably because A: i don't use a media proxy B: something with rebased doesn't work correctly C: one of my settings is bad.

  Well, when I browse through your media, some of it works and some of it doesn't. The media that doesn't load throws this issue.
  
  Firefox (and fire fox only) was doing this for me for poast a few weeks ago. Then it magically went away. Idk if graf did something or what.
  
  If he's using firefox it could be this.
