     @tk the EV mandate and subsidy HELPS Tesla. Especially the charging infra funding. This was all going to Tesla's competitors. Tesla's going to stay #1 now unless Ford/GM/etc actually pull their pants up and put their own money on the line.
     
     It's not like Ford is broke. They have billions in cash on hand.

     @feld @tk i didn't say they stopped, i'm saying that the ceo gave a talk to industry people, so not trying to blow smoke, as did gm's ceo, and they said theyre done with ev's because no ones buying them
     
     and they've sold less trucks because the ev's have driven the prices sky high
     
     you should read more trade publications if you want to know whats going on in an industry

     all they're doing is slowing down their pure EV push until it's more affordable for them.
     
     It very clearly says they're bringing TWO new EV trucks designed from scratch by a new team to market in 2027 after an EV van in 2026

     @TTimo If I needed to replace mine I'd still buy. Why are we so hell bent punishing the 140,000 hard working Americans that are employed there and risking their jobs because the CEO is a retard on camera?
     
     Any other time people talk about forcing Americans to lose their jobs you're public enemy #1, but as soon as it's to target a CEO it's ok?
