Is it just me, or is the Bandcamp app missing a big fat “BUY” button?
I have now been trying for five minutes to spend money on music. This is rather stretching the concept of an “impulse buy“.

@mhoye Yes!
It’s even worse, though. I feel like I’ve clicked through almost every screen, and it won’t let me spend money anywhere??!
@slothrop I don't quite get why "give me this song ($X)", "give me this album ($X)" and "give me everything this artist has ever made ($X)" aren't all one-click at Bandcamp.
@mhoye Opposing commercialization is all well and good, but Bandcamp is taking things a bit too far IMHO
@pettter Yeah. I don’t see a price on this album:
@slothrop For me I just click the price and that takes me to the various purchase options that are available?
@pettter I do see purchase options on other albums, but not this one 😤
@pettter Hm. I only just entered my credit card data.
I’ll check back tomorrow, and see if maybe an overnight database run has fixed it. Takes be back to the 90s 🙄
@slothrop I see "Name your price" in my app, which gets me there.
@pettter It works on the website, but not in the app 🙃
What in the ever living…
@mike Ah, that makes a twisted sort of sense. Thank you.
Now excuse me, while I polish my sledgehammer. It appears that there are some windows in Cupertino that need breaking.
@slothrop on iOS at least, it’s deliberately missing so they don’t have to give Apple a cut.
Instead, the “workflow” is to mark the the album as a favourite, wait for the email about new items on your wish list, then click on the link in the email to view it in your browser and buy it from there.
@pettter Question solved: it’s Apple fuckery.
Thank you!
@slothrop Weird.. Could it be that you're not logged in to the app maybe?
