@SnowshadowII Do you like your instance? I'm thinking of switching.
I spend hours blocking on this one.

@mick @GottaLaff @emd @coop @timbray @johannab I'll be honest; besides Tim Bray, I think you have more reach than anyone else on CoSocial. We do a pretty good job with blocking and reporting at the account and instance level. One thing that might work is to create an alt at CoSocial and try it out for a while. If it works, you can move your main account here.
@GottaLaff @emd @coop while this is more of a question for our Trust-and-Safety team, I can say that we keep an up-to-date blocklist and our T&S people are really on the ball. Tagging @timbray @evan @johannab
Mastodon.social has oodles of bots itself… you might find anywhere else better for that reason alone.
@emd I like the look of it. But can it handle all the idiot bots that pester me all the time? @SnowshadowII
@GottaLaff cc @coop @mick how are we with bots? Laffy gets a lot. @SnowshadowII
@GottaLaff @SnowshadowII http://cosocial.ca is a co-op model for Canadians. Might work well for you?
@evan @mick @GottaLaff @emd @coop @johannab We’d be honored to have ya, Laffy. We’re a BC-registered nonprofit co-operative, residents of Canada only. Built for sustainability. Warning: Not free, a big $50/year.
