Nothing fancy, just summarizes the currently-trending Posts, Hashtags, People, and News. “News” is trending links from Fediverse posts to anything on the Web. A decent quick simple ad-free snapshot of what’s going on in the world.

We're trying something new with our regular operations calls ... this is a space for announcements, working groups to get feedback on projects and tasks, and for group discussion and questions.

#CoSocialCa will be doing an election disinformation crisis simulation tonight at 5PM PT/8PM ET/9:30PM in Newfoundland.

We'll play through a scenario of election disinformation for CoSocial. People from different roles as CoSocial will role-play as board members, trust and safety team, tech ops, and other members.

All members are encouraged to attend and participate. Observers welcome, too.

Our membership and trust and safety team, with the patient leadership of @aeisenberg , have developed a new code of conduct for CoSocial.ca.

If enough responses are positive, the Board will approve this as the organization's new code of conduct at its next meeting in mid-May.

@gov and the TechOps team have been getting it more production ready.

Watch for a working group kick off announcement, will be looking for more volunteers for early testing and documentation

#CoSocialCastopod is also coming.

Inspired by meeting with #SocialCoop's @Matt_Noyes, going to run this as an "open working group" for anyone in the fediverse that wants to learn about @Castopod podcasting app
