     @mjr @aral I could be wrong but since he said "My heart goes out to you" I assume that the 'slapping his chest' thing is due to that.

     I did a reverse image search and am decently sure that these pictures are real, but nonetheless a video would either make them look worse or better.

     @golemwire @aral having seen the clip again on the lunchtime news, he only says that after he's done two salutes. Giving himself cover after he realised what he did, perhaps.

     @anubis2814 @aral I'm thinking now that what happened is he was in a mood to look formidable ("badass"?), did the Nazi salute (intentionally), realized that that could/would cause problems / was simply bad, and then said "My heart goes out to you" (what he said after both salutes) to try to change what he did....

     @golemwire @aral These are all completely taken out of context. There are many reasons to hold your hand like that when making speeches, duscussing height while story telling, being caught mid-wave. There is only ONE reason to do what Elon did and you know that.
