  Nah I had a buddy from high school who is a furry and is not gay. He went to furcons and skated around as a red panda. But then he became a woman and left his wife and abandoned his kids.

  This was one of my best friends since middle school. I use to walk over to his house all the time. I stayed with him and his wife when I was looking to buy a house. I still talk to his wife; she was pretty destroyed by all of it, as was his mom for a bit.

  Well "retarded" was originally a medical term that did refer to IQ (same with "moron" and "idiot" which represented different degrees of competencies). So I still think of it that way.
  
  He's certainly very socially awkward. Talks a million miles an hour. Doesn't pick up on social cues. ADHD. Probably has Aspergers. If that's what you mean, then yes.
