I'm stuck on hold.
Knowing their customer service is slow and shitty, they offered me a choice of music. "Nothing" wasn't an option apparently, and now they're abusing me with shitty Xmas music compressed to bits by the phone system and screeched at me.
This is abusing customers. Especially since the reason for the call was they lied. They showed up, didn't give me valuable (to me, at least) thing, and then marked it delivered.
I was pissed. Now I'm FUCKING LIVID AND DISREGULATED!

You know how people wondered how to keep future people away from radioactive waste, not knowing how language may change?
If I went with the goal of protecting future autistic people from radiation, I'd burry it in the middle of an underground grocery store blasting the xmas hold music screech fest I was just subjected to.
For a million years, 0 autists would be exlosed to that radiation!

It's materialistic, greedy, whiney, a horrid musical pattern, over played, andnit's a song representing the thing that fucked over my life the most - capitalism.
That song makes me INSTANTLY very very angry.

I can only hope that this rant has made you feel at least a tiny bit better, and that you’re not feeling as bad as it seems. The one I really, really hate is Frosty the Snowman, in an American accent, in Australia, when it’s 40 degrees C outside.

@GreenRoc @Susan60 @hellomiakoda the twist of the knife is the hold music that periodically stops for a second, just to have a recorded voice tell you how important your call is to them. So if you have the phone on speaker while you do stuff in the background waiting for the music to stop, it sounds like someone has answered, only for Lucy to yank that ball away one more time.
