     @Chronic-Yonic @stephagain My friend has a cottage she rents out, she has told me some horrid stories re how left, same re her mum's, who rents out their late aunt's little cottage at home. Woman across road from me has a chalet thing in garden, her young granddaughter comes to chat to me when they visit and she, in horrified tones, told me about "the dreadful disgusting mess" some tourists left behind them in Granny's chalet. Honestly, so many people seem to have lost all sense of any decency at all.

     @GrumpyOldNurse @HebrideanHecate @Chronic-Yonic I have worked hotels too, to be fair most rooms were ok.
     I remember one long-stay guest that would need a new toilet paper roll everyday , my coworker who was used to the guests trick , checked in his wardrobe and he had stocked up all the toilet paper rolls , so everyday she would take one roll in his reserve and put it back in the bathroom!

     I was in the supermarket one day (with the usual suspects screaming about my refusal to play the mask game) and actually witnessed a woman removing the toilet rolls from the shelf, taking a photo of the empty shelf, then replacing them.

     @Chronic-Yonic @GrumpyOldNurse @stephagain One of my old ladies in the nursing home...they all had dementia...used to wipe shit all over the place if she was alone in her room. Her daughters, whom nobody liked awfully much, they were the "naice" kind of people, were adamant that she would not want to be in the main sitting room but in her own room, radio for her etc. We just could not leave her there though, the mess she made was appalling and it wasn't fair on the cleaners. I don't think they were for taking a telling either re just how bad she was and how needed a constant eye kept on her. She at least had an excuse in that her mind had gone.

     @HebrideanHecate @GrumpyOldNurse @stephagain Oh yeah! Had to clean and disinfect toilet walls and partitions more than once from non-dementia people at that hospital who smeared feces everywhere. Fun times.

The RUGS aren't steam cleaned and I am not sure even steam cleaning can get out what some kinds of humans leave on the floor..... and walls....

     Woman I know from home was telling me her mum does holiday let change overs for some guy from Edinburgh who has a house on our island, she says he is a snob and a clart, and his guests are clarty. As in proper clarty not just it is a mess and untidy, while he turns his nose up at everyone below his pseudo intellectual Morningside milieu.
