   are aussies protesting this? i guess they aren't known for being particularly adept at resisting tyrannical govt overreach, so....

     If the govt in australia thinks this will limit the dominance of #usa tech giants they may be in for a rude shock, but somehow i think that's the plan right? Create a false paradigm, and give false choice. Keep the focus on, and create demand for, the falsebooks and 'the brain-chipped ones' platforms, etc

     Notice how they still want kids to be able to access data from those sites while not logged in, HINT that's actually not possible under bigtech's we want ur data doctrine, but whatever. (@sun @jeffcliff @silverpill)

     @silverpill @sun @jeffcliff Its also funny that the only website i could find that is sort of ethical that talks about this is from #India (WARNING the site uses google fonts, and some subpages are google drive and amazon so is far from perfect.

     A friendly reminder for privacy aware folks to run uBlockOrigin addon in ur browser (Tor Browser: Safest Mode) with a custom filter (in the 'My filters' tab) containing the following lines:

     googleapis.com use.typekit.net # DANGER: it's akamai fontawesome.com # DANGER: cloudflare (cf) cdnfonts.com # cf fonts.net #cf google.com youtu.be # doesnt work in Tor Browser anyway youtube.com youtube-nocookie.com
