So I get why people prefer to connect to a remote node, and I think it was some of the well-known ones that were compromised, took advantage of dangling DNS records, which isn't really the user's fault.

     I feel like you guys are missing the point that the only ppl willing to put up with something so annoying and complicated are ppl with autism and criminals, its never going to be something normal ppl use. So what problem is it solving really since you still have to id if you want to convert it into real cash you can use?

     That's the point I was sort of making previously. I don't really use it anymore since it's a bother and I prefer making money over autism activities.

     I mean I do understand why ppl like this stuff but I really think the idea that there should be zero transparency into financial transactions is very stupid and clueless
