- fry onions and garlic in olive oil - add bell peppers, add tomato juice - I season with thymine, rosemary, black pepper, "Parkrika Rosenscharf" (hot pepper? i don't know what that's called in english) and salt
- add black pepper and salt (and if you want, garlic) to greek yoghurt
@lucy I make something remarkably similar, at least in terms of ingredients.
- fry onions and celery in olive oil - add crushed tomatoes with spices (including garlic) - add bell pepper - simmer for like 15 minutes - add cooked beans - serve over rice
And yeah its a winner. I don't even know what to call it, but it makes a great hot cheap meal-prep lunch.
@lucy@mia I've made it with different kinds of beans, it always turns out good. Black beans, pinto beans, kidney beans, cannelloni beans, red beans... You can make it as spicy as you want with seasonings or even hot sauce or I've used diced jalapeños before too
