     @eriner bluesky was originally a twitter project but it got spun off and dorsey stayed on as a board member even after he quit twitter. at some point he abruptly quit the board and unfollowed everyone except three people on his bluesky and completely dedicated himself and like 15 million dollars of his own money on nostr

     Nothing to disagree with you here, but I think Brazil banning Twitter isn't a bad thing either way.
     
     The cattle will go to farms no matter if Twitter or Bluesky, but I'm sure that this ban has driven people onto Fedi or better yet, away from social media as a whole, pretty sure it's hardly a net loss to ban Twitter anywhere.
