Mail is all a big pain in the ass. I got our IP blacklisted at one job trying to filter the company's client db for bad emails to get it under the bounce rate limit for MailChimp. All 100% legit opt-in activity, but people would put fake emails or not update abandoned ones.

proton.me is good, and they let me send like 1000 per day with my main mailbox, but i tried to open a second mail box to send marketing for different services and the IP blocked my email bot after sending like 300 emails (got 4 customers off it but NOOOOOO) so i got mad and went back to making my own. But mxroute just seems like the better option. -
