1. the vaccine existed already and worked well
2. after the breakout, at-risk people started taking the vaccine.

Do you also blame monkeypox lesions on the vaccine? How about mealses spots, does the vaccine cause those, too? These symptoms are a *direct consequence* of infection of the viruses in question. -

I asked because I suspect the reason he thinks gender-affirming treatment is dodgy is because he's made no attempt to understand it. Admittedly I haven't made much effort myself, but I won't as yet be making strong claims for or against.
That's only a problem if most of the children regret it later. I don't care about what your principles are, because your principles can be wrong. In another day your principles would have led you to let out your child's bad blood. -
