  depending on where you worked/where you live, you had one of the following situations from what I recall:
  
  1. nothing; your boss doesn't give a shit and where you live didn't care
  2. heavily pushed but never forced nor hinted at it being required (where I worked, it went like this; I never took the covid shots despite them offering to pay me to take it because I was paranoid and still refuse covid shots)
  3. heavily pushed, heavily implied it would be a requirement at some point but this never materialized (you may've lost your job anyway if they took this as an opportunity to scrutinize you for normally overlookable minor errors and mistakes, or just heeded hearsay)
  4. you work in a field (especially healthcare)/live in an area where they required you to receive the covid vax. healthcare professionals are already usually required to get flu shots, so most of them got it.
  
  but man the propaganda pushing it overall was heavy and strong

  @lichelordgodfrey @sickburnbro Funny enough, the place where I work is overall run by a family, and my boss wanted to force it, but his siblings and lawyer refused.
  The thing that got him to leave it alone? They said that they would allow him to force it, but he would take all legal ramifications if there are side effects. And the idea of him having to pay out of his own pocket immediately changed his mind.

  The vaccine is like a seatbelt. It protects you, and people should use them. But even with a seatbelt, you shouldn't put yourself in a position where an auto accident happens by choice. The risks of covid and auto accidents is roughly proportional. Some people walk away, with or without a seatbelt. But you want to be wearing a seatbelt.
