This isn't about being afraid

The vaccine is like a seatbelt. It protects you, and people should use them. But even with a seatbelt, you shouldn't put yourself in a position where an auto accident happens by choice. The risks of covid and auto accidents is roughly proportional. Some people walk away, with or without a seatbelt. But you want to be wearing a seatbelt. Not because you're "afraid", but because it's dumb not to.
