if you look behind some controller events you will start to find many triggers for enhanced tyranny work like this
- advance warning of very bad thing
- security forces are moved away from the bad thing instead of toward it
- bad thing happens
- state bull rushes its agenda, ignoring that they moved security off the event, and pushing for some power grab
it happens an awful lot :neocat_woozy:-

@realcaseyrollins @thor @icedquinn @galena The one exception I would make is that there was a degree of IDF incompetence around October 7th. Most of the IDF was tied up in the West Bank where there were violent settler land seizures going on with the IDF frequently assisting. So, they responded in chaotic ways to the attacks of October 7th. There are some reports from Israeli civilian witnesses that (at least) some Israeli deaths were "friendly fire" incidents.

@leftylabourtech @thor @icedquinn @galena I’m not sure one would presume that they’re perfect.
So I would suspect that you think they intentionally allowed October 7th to happen? (I don’t blame you if you do, that was my initial thought for the first week or so)
