Vitamin D isn't really a vitamin, it's a steroid hormone. It's ESSENTIAL to health. Basically no one in the west has enough. Everyone knows about testosterone. No one knows about vitamin D - not really at least. It's not just some random shit you can take a bit of to feel better. It does HEAPS of stuff in your entire body. No one in the west has enough vitamin K either.

If i REALLY wanted to do something with my health, took up the time and resource investment. I'd be snatching up all current research on vitD and forming my own opinions.
Everything else i'd hear would be considered second tier unless you're citing your sources.

Definitely would be cautious over 5X daily dose every day, that's all i wanted to say. Metabolic problems aren't solved faster if you hit them harder, that's a long term project.

@Dan_Hulson @CatLord I try not to talk about this in terms of being careful, since people take it straight to their ego and over do it anyway. Just try to point out the facts.
I just skimmed the first article that popped up about vitD. Average human needs 2000 IU daily. Make it 4000 IU if you're a FUCKING WHALE OF A MAN. Anything above and you're risking mild toxicity, 10K is probably mid-high toxicity territory. And ideally you should balance your regular food intake with the supplement.
