I just skimmed the first article that popped up about vitD. Average human needs 2000 IU daily. Make it 4000 IU if you're a FUCKING WHALE OF A MAN. Anything above and you're risking mild toxicity, 10K is probably mid-high toxicity territory. And ideally you should balance your regular food intake with the supplement.
