Well.... any mathematics as a branch is usually internally consistent. But whether it represents something about reality is a separate issue. For a long time people thought Euclid had discovered something true about reality until Reimann and Lobachevsky brought his idea of a "straight line" into question.

Same follows for scale of use of Pi in measure or geometric equation.
