     @Xenophon This appeal to etymology fails on its face. I mean using this argument we can say that Italians, Irish, Slavs, etc aren't Huwhite because by the historical racial classification they weren't. But if we're going to have to accept modern reclassifications to include them, then we're going to have to consider Jews, Arabs, and "White Hispanics" White, since modern racial classification considers them such. We can't be selective about this. But I'm sure you'll try to be.

     You're looking from the end backwards, instead of from the beginning forwards. 5000 years ago, did Noah think black people were human? Did the Egyptians? Did the Greeks? The Romans? Did any Christian Europeans think they were humans?
     
     Then one day, we start thinking they are humans, so you say "well I don't want to offend God."
     
     Then the next question is, what is a human? I don't mistreat my dogs and they aren't human. I don't think blacks should be slaves. I'm not saying we should hurt them. But they just aren't the same as us. There is no common ancestry.

     I used to have a pinned post of a comment I saw a guy make on Quora of all places, about this exact subject. It went something like this.

     I was in the park and I heard a person say “Does anybody want some ice cream?” So I went over to get some and all of the people looked at me like “who is this guy?” I realized they were all part of the same family and they weren’t speaking to me.

     The man in charge of Judea, Herod, is a known Edomite. There is not a drop of Israelite blood in his body. The most powerful man in Judea. And YET, everyone thinks that every other person was a son of Judah, except Herod?
