As the past decade has shown: once you start allowing fascists and oligarchs to infiltrate the political system, each election becomes harder to win than the last.

By now, it takes significantly more effort, money, votes, for the sane side to just be level with the populist fascist side. And this is about to get a lot worse: look at what SCOTUS approved *under* Biden, do you think they'll hold back anything under Trump? Watch as every future US election slides more and more to the right.

Those people annoyed the hell out of me 8y ago. This time around, they'll get physical violence as an immediate reply.

The US is now at best 3 years from something between Gilead and late 1930s Europe. Things won't get better before getting worse, not without some (violent) crisis in the middle.

@Eldeberen @lord Encore une fois, c'est un fait. Qui nécessite d'être pris en considération (et l'est rarement), en particulier lorsque l'on fait des projections sur l'évolution possible du réchauffement.

Les conclusions qui en sont tirées, dépendent de ceux qui les font. Et le principe de la géo-ingénierie et autres idées débiles pour "résoudre" la crise climatique, n'a pas vraiment attendu les données du GIEC.

Et la conclusion n'est pas "il faut continuer de polluer pour éviter le réchauffement". C'est "parallèlement aux efforts pour réduire les émissions, il faut tenir compte du fait que les efforts pour réduire la pollution à particules, rajoutera 20-30% d'effort en plus de l'autre coté"…
