@dansup tbh I don’t see how this is better than having pixelfed dot social as the default and retaining the ability for people to easily pick another server if they want.

It took me a sec to figure out how to log in to my customer server because enabling custom servers in the options is not intuitive

I agree that we shouldn’t expect new users to have a PhD in fediversology, but currently the implementation seems more like obfuscation than simplification

With the looming end of life of Wndows 10, it has come to my attention that most of our office computers are not specced well enough to upgrade.

It is crazy that they would expect us to upgrade a dozen of computers that work perfectly well just to run the latest version of their bloated OS, when all we need to do is run word processor, spreadsheet, and a web browser.

Radish (200 yen = $1.30) and carrots (250 yen = $1.61) **with the greens** on them.

Normally it’s hard to find veg with the greens still on, but these convenience stores have a farmers’ section where you can find them some times. Also, normally, red radishes are smaller and more expensive

Both carrot greens and radish greens are edible, but I didn’t know till recently they are also really good 😋

You are right that the dev is too slow. It’s not that they aren’t trying hard or doing a good job. There just aren’t enough of them. The official masto app still doesn’t have quote toots, so we still argue about them after many years!
