Yet again I am astonished at how selfish and ridiculous #Berkeley residents can be when a few parking spaces are planned for removal.

It annoys me that they invoke disabled rights when #Berkeley has a good blue-curb program (people with disabilities can request a curb space and are almost always approved) and none of the parking involved is blue-curbed. It annoys me that they invoke the parking needs of “working people” then oppose housing for working people. It annoys me that they invoke “people with children” and ignore the huge number of families on cargo bikes on this very street. These arguments are selfish and dishonest.

@annika that’s basically my stable. One normal-ish commuter, a Bullitt X electric cargo bike that I ride almost everywhere, and a Brompton. I use them all and love them all. Get the number of bikes that makes it easy to bike more for you, imo.
