Yes, I'm pretty sure Nitrous Oxide is only N2O. From memory I think that there are certain compounds that are exceptions to the rules but generally an -ide has 2 of whatever atom and an -ate has three.

I think it is interesting but many people would probably think you're crazy for learning Organic Chemistry on your own without being forced to take it due to a degree plan or something.

Very true.

People talk about some criminals being "smart" but in general, if they were actually all that smart they would have figured out a more legitimate way to make money in the first place.

It's like how people try to say that jews are so smart when they just play middle man or do financial schemes. If jews were so smart they have more inventions instead of more schemes.

Catalytic converter thieves should be executed due to the fact that they cause so much damage finacially and physically and get so little in return for the damage they do.

It's ~$500 to have your cats replaced, if not more in many cases, and they only get like $50 per cat or something like that so the ratio is extremely lopsided.

That's hilarious.

The "hair of the dog" trick works but I could only do it with beer or something that didn't taste like it had alcohol in it at all or definitely didn't taste like whatever alcohol caused the hangover in the first place.

I'm not sure that boofing meth is a thing but I wouldn't put it past them.

Meth heads get pretty desperate and end up doing some crazy stuff though.

I guess that could be considered another form of the "bloody mary" maybe?

I've heard of that too but never known anyone who actually did it.

Stuff like that seems like something only a few people do and then people hear about it and parents freak out and the news channels run a story about it for cheap views which in turn causes a major panic.

True, many people don't realize that Oxygen is O2 and the chemistry terms bother me sometimes. Anything with -ide at the end should have two of the atoms but I want to say that there are some exceptions to that rule.

I've heard that Ozzy or Motley Crue or some other 80s band did liquor intravenously but I am not sure if that is true or just an urban legend.

Either way, it isn't something I'd ever try even if I didn't hate needles.

I was thinking about mentioning that.

One time I told my friends relative that he had been "boofing" beer and liquor and that I thought he needed help. I remember him getting pissed because his aunt had a talk with him about his "problem."

Oxygen is definitely the same between the different trades but Nitrous Oxide is NOT from what I remember after doing some research.

The Nitrous you get at the speed shops has an adulterant in it to prevent people from using it for unintended purposes, again, thats from what I remember after researching it.

I might be wrong about the Nitrous Oxide but I'm pretty sure I'm not.

Yeah, I thought they sold them for a short time or had a video on how to make them yourself.

People got alcohol poisoning though and they pulled the product or videos but I definitely remember hearing/reading about this like ten years ago or so.

You guys ever remember seeing people "smoking" alcohol?

Oxygen helps and if you aren't dehydrated it is supposed to give you a "natural high."

As far as the IVs go, when I was in the military the medics would give themselves IVs after drinking heavily and swore it made a big difference, which I'm sure it did since it cures the dehydration part of the hangover.

I hate needles though so I never tried it myself. If it weren't for my fear of needles I'd probably be going to school for medical stuff instead of law school.

Those are good to make "bloody marys" and "red beer" with but that's about it.

V8 used to make a similar product that was really good for making bloody marys and red beer with. I think it was a spicy version or had actual Tobasco sauce in it.

That's the one! They're pretty good even by itself but if you like bloody marys or red beer (pouring some clamato/V8 juice in a regular beer) then you'd probably like using this to make it with.
