@dneary @evan It's about choice. I voted "strong no" because I don't want to get any account with my phone. If I want to go on any service (including fedi) it should be my own choice, and I should be the one making that account, so that I have choice.

It's not really formal and I wasn't sneaky about it or anything so I think it's okay. And otherwise, I'll just not get that extra point.
I hope that their test software for the competition is the same as the one we got because based on it I assumed that in the competition all executables would also be put in one directory. And I used /proc, which works differently on different Unixes and some don't even have it.

I started at uni this year and this week we had a really fun exercise. We had to make a rock, paper scissors algorithm in C and the idea is that the algorithms would compete against each other and the people with the best 3 algorithms would get an extra point. We'll get the results next week. I really liked the exercise because it allowed me to think outside of the box. I ended up making an algorithm that looks through /proc and runs the opponent to see what its answer would be.

In a recent #gnome update, a device #security section got introduced. It says secure boot is disabled but it is turned on in the BIOS. Does anyone know how to fix this? And how do I lock the IME manufacturing mode?

Please boost so that maybe someone who can #help sees it.
