This is a reposted poll. My previous version asked, "Should mobile phone companies provide a fediverse account with your phone service?" Here, I'm using the universal "you", like "with one's phone service". But I think a lot of people responded as if I was asking if they would use a fediverse account provided by their mobile phone company. I've rephrased the question so it's clear that the mobile phone company is providing the service, but you, the respondent, don't have to use it.

I voted "strong no" because I don't want to get any account with my phone. If I want to go on any service (including fedi) it should be my own choice, and I should be the one making that account, so that I have choice.
