@mattly I was in a class action suit against devry university. They were found to have used deceptive practices, fraudulent in how they portrayed how much you'd owe in student loans.

I got the equivalent of the interest on one student loan payment.

Good lord, the new Apple Pro Max is going to be over $3,000 AUD? This is why I don't buy new phones, anymore. I just bought an iPhone 12 about 6 months ago, and it'll last me probably 3 years. I'm done paying over $1,000 for phones - that's just stealing from my #guitar fund.

@tk I want a ZX4RR! There's a track about an hour away from me, it's be the perfect bike to ride down there, pin the throttle all day long, and then ride home.

@tk @Rocc No longer relevant, really - since Audi took over, and got money into their QA and testing, they've been a lot better. My next bike will not be a Ducati, but only because we've moved somewhere with primarily straight roads. If I still lived on the Sunshine Coast, with it's beautiful twisty hinterlands, I'd be buying a Pikes Peak Multistrada.

I'm too old for a Panigale, but my god, are they sexy.

@tk When I say "the hood”, I don't really mean “the city”. But I have lived in the city (NYC), I've lived in the suburbs, and as I said, I grew up in a rough, violent neighbourhood where you were challenged all the time.

As I get older, I find myself wanting to be more and more rural.

@tk I was raised in the hood until I was 10, then my folks moved us to the burbs. I guess it's a matter of perspective.
