     @tk I was raised in the hood until I was 10, then my folks moved us to the burbs. I guess it's a matter of perspective.

     @tk When I say "the hood”, I don't really mean “the city”. But I have lived in the city (NYC), I've lived in the suburbs, and as I said, I grew up in a rough, violent neighbourhood where you were challenged all the time.

     As I get older, I find myself wanting to be more and more rural.

     @tk @rogersherman Rural is great for retirement but not when you have to work.

     I was out on that green pasture. Astroturf never looked greener.

     @tk A good friend of mine made it pretty far on a diet of cigarettes and wonderbread at one point in his life. I’m glad he’s quit world of warcraft and can afford food now.
