@roadriverrail Fingers crossed that someone's poor decision doesn't end up hurting you.

I do not think we use the snooze button on our alarm clocks because me labor under the illusion that just ten minutes more of sleep will be the difference between rested or not. We do it because we want ten more minutes before we have to deal with reality. It is easy to get out of bed when you are excited to face your day.

My entire mood.

@roadriverrail Car rental services are the fucking worst.

@roadriverrail IF I go back I'm going to be completely disconnecting from my family. There's just no net benefit to us being connected at this point on either side, and in fact there is harm being caused by having that level of access to me. Sucks, but after 50 years I'm done with putting square pegs into round holes. I've gotten more compassion, understanding, and support from random internet strangers than people who I'm related to.

Whelp. Deactivated the Facebook account, too. Will probably delete it altogether. Much like Twitter, I have realized that if I did not have a means of staying connected with someone outside of that platform they probably aren’t all that important in my life, and the amount of family drama there has gotten unmanageable. So it goes.
