@skinnylatte the only time that I was ever concerned (okay, freaked) in SF was walking to my car at about 2am, south of Market, and every time I passed a street light, it would turn off and stay off. This happened for three blocks. It had never happened before and didn’t happen the next time I walked that way. This was around 1997.

@skinnylatte Alphonso types we find almost year round, even at the local grocery, mostly from Mexico, SoCal and Florida. Interesting that Banganpalli is different from Badami, the mango we have was marketed as Badami (Baganpalli) @czds

@czds @skinnylatte yeah, we typically get types of Alphonso mango and not the Philippine carabao nor pico mangoes, but call them Manila Mango.

@skinnylatte Badami mango as part of our breakfast this week. @czds can only share a quarter of mango each day. Amazing. Different flavor profile from our normal Manila Mango, but they are all good.

@skinnylatte since this VP job reports to the Chief Marketing Officer, I forwarded this to a CMO friend to see if they might know someone who might be interested. Our friend has worked for several OSS, data management and analytics, and [not really but the marketing hype says] AI companies in the Bay Area. @czds and I first met him, OMG, twenty years ago, and he and his family have become good friends since. Good guy who has hired a lot of great people.

@skinnylatte when I lived in Montara, decades ago. There was a fellow from Santa Cruz who brought jugs of his chai to A Coastal Affair. Later he opened in Half Moon Bay with a shop of his own. He retired with no successor. I thought it delicious but I have no comparison.

The «Officer» didn’t know Pennsylvania, insisted it was a country. My passport, birth certificate, clearance authorization letter notwithstanding. It went downhill from there.
