Whenever I ask Mastodon a question about IT I end up feeling like a woman asking a very specific question about SETI@Home scripting in a 1999 internet chatroom*.
Anyway. Can the MS Teams and / or Okta apps be used to (partly) wipe data from an iPhone (without mdm).
*hint: she will not receive an answer nor return. She will however receive tips on how a trackball is superior to a mouse.

A Dutch colleague of mine told me about their holiday plan to fly to Paris and then to experience that "amazing long distance train" all the way to Berlin! In Berlin they'll only take trams and maybe rent bikes!
And then to fly back to Amsterdam.
She was not joking and I'm considering banging my head into a wall.

We got a Duplo train for baby. Turns out the adults play with it just as much 😁

🩸 We're in the hospital and just went through the process of taking blood from our baby. As the blood is sipped from the tiny fingers of a crying baby it's natural to wonder how this process can be improved.
It drives home how nefarious the fake optimism (one drop!) portrayed by Theranos / Elizabeth Holmes was. Don't we all want to believe things can get better?
Anyway. Book recommendation: Bad Blood by Carreyrou. A story about bad people & Kissingers grandson.

@straphanger Not bad. Their commitments are in line with providers like the Dutch NS (fully green electricity for some years, working on greening the "backup" solutions) and German DB (fully green for all long distance and some regions).

@slothrop this is what I normally do, and do get it right 🙂 For once I looked at recipes though, and "oiling the bowl" is a recurring line item.

Anyway. A good book. As in: a hardcover. And from an author the old man already has shown interest in. Maybe even a book the old man has discussed and mentioned "wanting to read again".
Basically a hard cover of LOTR.
Or LEGO.
And if they're into outdoorsy "work" style stuff like hobby forestry, get the old man professional quality safety gear (jacket, fitted safety glasses etc).

Danish society is often oblivious to religious sensitivities. Apparently my kid will go to church today. No permission slip needed.
Message from our government run day-care:
"In addition to a lot of festive fun the children had cozy Christmas lunch with delicious food. Tomorrow the last event of the year awaits, a visit to the church, together with the other children institutions."
I hope the kids wear high-vis gear.
