@gemlog@clacke@mergerg FFmpeg is the most popular command line video editor on Linux, but there are also a few other frameworks available too, like Melt, GPAC, Mencoder, and GStreamer.
Some of these other videos editors might not be practical for editing videos on the command line like GStreamer, but you can use them on the command line if you do want too.
@mergerg The best video editors for Linux are probably Kdenlive, Shotcut, Flowblade, Openshot and Olive video editor. For simple video editing tasks, you can use FFmpeg on the command line.
@greg@BeAware 93 languages is more than most people can handle. The translation feature is nice to have, but search filters would be impressive to have in Mastodon as well.
Mastodon needs to have an option to apply filters to the search results. I would like to hide all the Mastodon search results that are NOT in English. Providing a translation feature does not necessarily help.
@youronlyone There are moments when multi-cursor editing can be useful. Editing CSS comes to mind when you want to add the same CSS properties to various classes. You can avoid copying and pasting the same CSS properties throughtout your file by using multi-cursor editing instead.
@eliasp@youronlyone Helix editor looks awesome, but people have to know that it requires a terminal to use. I think it is impressive that it is written in Rust.
