Finding it hard to celebrate Tucker Carlson getting canned. The guy made $35 million a year by spreading hatred and lies and racism, and his net worth is close to half a billion dollars.

That’s why it’s difficult to see this as a win. And he’ll be back. They always come back.

This bot runs as a launchd service on my Mac, and checks the status of the Apple Music app every few seconds. If something is playing, it sends a POST to my server with the track and album info. The server script then checks to see if it already has album art, and if not, uses the Amazon API to search for it. Then it builds a status with the image and the track info, and posts it to Mastodon with my API access key.
