@alcinnz any search engine worth its salt honors robots.txt so using that you can protect them. These tools were specifically made to punish those who do not honor robots.txt

As far as I'm aware, google still honor it

@alcinnz I've worked with blockly/brick based languages (writing interpreter etc).

One major reason for using them for teaching is that it eliminates some typo and syntax based errors, which is otherwise a very common source of trouble for kids when what they really need to learn is just statements, loops, vars, conditionals and functions.

After they've got a grasp of those things, the interruption of typo errors in the work flow isn't as demotivating, I think

@garius Interesting! Having injured myself with exercise before, and knowing how absolutely awful it is, that sounds like a very hard balance to have to strike.

@garius from what little I've seen (I'm not really into football) it at least seems like there's a whole lot less faking being hurt to cheat the referees in the women's tournament. So it does seem more civilized, to me.

@Polychrome kdeconnect will let you control your Android phone from Linux, Windows and maybe Mac, and from other Android devices. If they're on the same WiFi network. Not sure if they solves your exact problem, but closest I've seen

@dansup works better in jurisdictions like China where every phone number is tied to a legal identity. Wherever prepaid SIM cards can be bought it'd only slightly raise costs for mass spammers, so I'd prefer a method that doesn't require personal information.
