@Kavus If they don't show up for work, then the employer will inform any other job that they apply for that one day you just left work without notice and never came back, which will make them look like someone who is untrustworthy and unreliable, which will lower their chances of getting another job.

@Dogzilla People without references of previous jobs are less likely to get jobs than people with references, since employers will favor people with work experience in the field that they're being hired for as opposed to people with no experience, and this is especially important for poor people who need jobs, i.e poor people who are desperate for money

Workers at McDonalds in LA have walked off the job ON STRIKE due to inside heat of nearly 100 degrees. Workers at this store helped launch a strike wave that spread to over 350 stores statewide in 2020 through 2022. They're reminding the bosses who has the power!
