So you might think I'd say that Taylor Swift sending her fans to register to vote, even when she endorses Kamala Harris, would result in a net shift of votes towards the GOP. But no. It is a huge shift towards Harris.

Because her fans are half of *everyone*. 53% of the US population, are Swifties.🤯

Over a decade ago, I worked on a presidential papers project. The audacious goal was to scan in all presidential papers, make them available for download, and extract any possible data. But until the advent of the typewriter, virtually no data *could* be extracted, other than the odd letterhead. My proposal was to collect the images, build a processing pipeline, and when OCR of handwriting was possible, do it then.

Well, ChatGPT *nailed* this. So many handwritten documents can be discoverable!

Is there a vendor that does a good job of letting an individual run a mailing list? Like, an old-school-style list we would hard find with majordomo back in the day (moderated, anyone can post) but with contemporary design and UI?
