   We asked 1,000+ attendees to mask indoors this weekend, and everyone just did. I didn’t have to stop and remind a single person the entire 3 days.

   There were definitely gaps in the policy, the risk wasn’t reduced to zero, but if anyone is wondering if it’s possible for events and large gatherings to make reasonable accommodations to reduce the risk of spreading COVID, it absolutely is, we proved it, and your event should be doing it too.

     @mattl @thomasfuchs In hindsight, and if we'd had a guarantee of better weather, best option probably would have been to have the simulcast fully outdoors, especially with the LED video wall being an option now.

     @mattl @thomasfuchs Right, the white seats in the back didn't require masks since we were able to open two full walls of the tent.

     @thomasfuchs I think the tent required it only for the first few rows, which were next to the signs. Were people sitting there and not masking?

     @andymcmillan@xoxo.zone An interesting social "experiment". Although no scientific method involved. No Control. Unless you have an identical event with no masks and document the difference. Not that there's anything to prove. COVAD isn't deadly enough to require such societal mental degradation and quality of life. But people do all kinds of things to make themselves feel important now, don't they?
