@meowski The family supplied clothes and that's what they went with. They don't seem keen on playing along with the gender stuff. The only reason I knew he was trans is because I know someone who knows someone who knew him. I have the feeling that his parents are going to get a lot of hate. I also don't know how he died, but if it was a suicide they're definitely getting blamed for it.

@meowski I do the front-end work (taking calls, writing obituaries, contacting newspapers, scheduling services, handing people containers of ashes, etc) so I'm not personally privy to the states of bodies unless we're doing an open casket service and I see something, it's a big news story, the family wants the cause of death mentioned in the obituary, someone on the backend chats with me about it, or I hear gossip from somewhere.
I could ask about it but I feel like it would be inappropriate to be like "YO HOW'D THAT TRANNY DIE" so I'm keeping an ear out instead.

My current understanding is that he had trooned out quite recently and not many people knew about it. Those who did know are super pissed at his family and church but have kept the funeral home out of it.

I forgot to post an update on Dog Funeral Guy. After everyone went all in for the Dog Funeral, the guy started ghosting me so the Dog Funeral never actually happened. I still haven't figured out if it was a weird prank or what. He seemed pretty sincere when he first contacted us. :blobcatoh:

@ChasingWaterfalls I'm like 50/50 on this because I have 800 million hair accessories and like playing around with them and watching hairstyle videos and reading articles about hair stuff, so I can kind of understand it if other women also like doing makeup and watching makeup vids. But I also wouldn't expect any of the men in my life to notice or care about it.
My female coworkers frequently notice and comment on my hair accessories though and I like that. :blobfox:
