So like, I'm less than a month away from getting my surgery (orchiectomy) consult, I have all my letters for Medicaid, I'm good to go.
I just get a call from OSU Wexner saying my surgeon is leaving in a few months and I'm thinking like okay they're just gonna set me up with another surgeon right? Nah. He's the only one who does my surgery**
So they just told me to call the Cleveland Clinic or this guy in a private practice...
**I find it quite hard to believe that he's the only person at such a huge hospital that can do a bilateral orchiectomy, they meant that he's the only one that will do it for trannies.
I've decided I need to employ more extreme measures to get a job, and do so by being a trap.
Not like a trap as in it's channer use, but I'm gonna put "Ray" on my resume, remove the pronouns, and do a fake deep voice on the phone, then my first day at work just show up as myself.
@transitory that's kind of something I always wondered in the back of my mind, and if you put it under a lens it does make the whole "bathroom debate" kind of weird.
Which I mean, it only exists because some pervert in the 1950s accused homosexuals of loitering around washrooms, in something that can only be conjured up in the bigoted mind. Current anti-trans bigots are boring assholes who lack imagination, so they simply recycled that.
With that being said, if there is anybody who has been blessed by the state with so much power that they can make some form of abuse in a bathroom occur despite the logistical issues associated with that, it's definitely cops.
<< Almost half of the cases (48%) in the study involved an arrested officer who was employed by a law enforcement agency in the Southern region of the United States (i.e., Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia). It is not clear why the incidence of sex-related police crime arrests is so high in the South. We do know, however, that there are more police officers employed in the South (n = 147,235, 33%) than in any other region of the country, there are more municipal law enforcement agencies in the South (n = 3945, 35%) than in any of the other geographic regions, and the average number of police officers per 1,000 inhabitants in the South (n = 2.6) is higher than in the other regions (U.S. Department of Justice, 2010, Table 71).>>
Interesting, so while these Nazis have failed to produce evidence that giving queer people human rights leads to more sexual abuse, here is some pretty solid ass evidence that more cops equals more sexual abuse right here.
Parents have no reason to fear trans people going into a bathroom with their kids. They do however, have many very good reasons to fear cops going into a bathroom with their kids.
Watching Some More News reminded me that the Catholic church is not the only example of hypocrisy in the false groomer narrative, police are also big time fucking groomers.
Okay, so, I'm poor, for some reason I still haven't heard shit on my VA claim. I survive on $165 a month. I'm out of money. Apparently also HUD wants me to pay $66 a month for my portion of rent :blobcattriumph:, what a shit croque...
Also, I do want to share my thoughts on Bit (2019) lol.
So I'll make y'all a deal, if I meet my goal of $166 ($100 just for stuff I need until my next disability comes and $66 for this rent I apparently have to pay for July), then I will write a very thoughtful and long analysis of Bit (2019). In a thread of toots. At least 1000 words. It will be really cool and tell y'all everything haha.
Goal Exceeded! I'll leave this up, but give me like a day and I'll have a review of Bit (2019) written.
Like one school, Harvard, said only that they planned to comply with the law but that they would also be committed to diversity and inclusion. So basically Vance is raising a whole meltdown because of that, and accusing them of not complying with the law.
So like, if anybody is all like "No the Supreme Court's decision won't actually impact anything, affirmative action is bullshit." Show them this. This is a Senator, saying that schools expressing "a commitment to diversity and inclusion" is in violation of the law. He's saying the quiet part out loud.
Like these mfers bought like 10 boxes of masks from Sam's Club and still probably have like 9 of them in the basement somewhere, or they threw them out when Trump lost the election or something.
@miiamustang@claude_cahun it's more than just "entertainment on TV" thats problematic, it's the fact that my feed was lit up with this shit all last night.
I consume problematic things all the time. However, once I talk about consuming those problematic things in leftist spaces in a positive light and in such a way that facilitates conversations, then I am in effect responsible for whatever perpetuating such nonsense does.
In this case, talking about #eurovision in a consumptive way on a hashtag thus putting it in front of a bunch of leftists infers that ones conversation about a "flashy gay entertaining show" supersedes the acknowledgement and respect that Palestinians deserve by such competition repeatedly letting Israel be present in.
That's where my issue lies. That's where the issue of many lies.
You cant come on here and @ me trying to flip it to where I'm proposing ineffective praxis because you feel guilt that you're amplifying a show that perpetuates Zionism and Palestinian oppression.
Enjoy your show. Keep talking about it on the hashtag even. Idc. But this is what it means to do so. You have to deal with that. Stay out of my mentions while you do.
