Ich weiss nicht wie es Euch geht, aber ich finde es an Mastodon irgendwie heimelig, dass so etwa ab Zehne die Beiträge weniger werden und sich irgendwann in der Timeline kaum noch etwas tut.

Da wird mir dann nochmal richtig klar: Das sind alles Menschen hinter diesen anonymen Konten. Menschen die in ihren warmen Betten liegen und friedlich schlafen, egal wieviele Aufreger hier tagsüber durchgefegt sind.

@Mastodon Normally I use #metatext but gave the new #mastodonapp update for iOS a try. Nice design and I can edit posts which Metatext can‘t.

What I don’t like:
- Pinned toots do not show in profiles. This sometimes buries some really great but older content 😏👎
- Visibility of toots can still not be set to „unlisted“. For me not a big thing as I compose longer threads in the browser. But it‘s a useful feature which was implemented for a good reason in mastodon and should be part of the M-app.

I am not keen of quoted posts because I like the idea of a platform that forgets.

Quoted posts would take the control over my posts out of my hand.

Editing, deleting, reposting - all these dearly loved features of Mastodon would be at risk.

I am very happy without quoted posts ?
